Our flesh desires to have a hero to come save us. Today, more than ever, people are desperate for someone to come up with the equation for world peace. The good news is that Jesus is coming to meet our desires. He is our hero that many search blindly for. As believers, we look forward to sharing in his glory when He returns, but in the meantime we must not become content. While we don’t know when He will make his return, we must continue to share the gospel to the ends of the earth until He does. We must be ready to lead revivals and share Christ’s love with others in our patient waiting. “When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
