**The wood for this product is sourced from self-sustaining forests in the Appalachian and Cascade mountain ranges of the US and into parts of Canada. These forests have been deemed self-sustaining since these forests now contain more harvestable wood than 100 years ago due to the best practices and ethical principles of the lumber harvesters within the regions. I am working towards making sure that all of my products meet these same standards of ethics and quality. I am continuously searching for ethically sourced products for you and your customers.
